55th Reunion - SUNDAY CRUISE on Lake Raystown
Participants met at Tiger Stadium, behind our high school, to carpool and form a caravan to the marina where The Princess is docked.

It was a great day for a cruise - partly cloudy and not too warm or cold.  Since we had inclement weather most of the weekend, it must have discouraged others from going on the cruise, as we had lots of room to roam around both decks of the boat.

Before we boarded the boat, we were asked if we minded getting into a water battle with some "pirates" along our cruise.  The crew explained that a number of smaller boats had ganged up on them numerous times at a certain part of the lake, and they used water guns to squirt The Princess boat and guests.

The Princess crew had refrained from retaliating - until this day!  This day, the crew had decorated the boat to look like a pirate ship.  They issued a paintball gun filled with water to everyone who was willing to participate.  And they were prepared with some Pirate music to play over the loudspeakers at the appropriate time when the battle was raging.

Note that the photos taken during the Pirate invasion show signs of water.

The cruise is (normally) very relaxing and educational, and the Pirate invasion added to the fun and excitement.  It was a cruise we'll never forget.

A good time was had by all.

Once again, our thanks to Dan Feather for taking the photos.
